Based on the achievements of microbiology and biotechnology, as well as the availability of appropriate natural resources in the country, scientists of the Armbiotechnology Research and Development Center have developed technologies for the production of environmentally friendly fertilizers of a wide range of activities that are carried out at our enterprise. country.
The proposed biological product “Ecobiofid +” is based on a technology that does not have domestic or foreign analogues, which differs fundamentally from those known for the production of environmentally friendly biofertilizers of multi-purpose and prolonged action, containing a complex of nitrogen-fixing microorganisms and zeolites. The drug based on natural raw materials also provides plants with macro- and microelements, vitamins and protein amino acids. The drug restores the soil and provides environmentally friendly products.
The developed drug and the method for its preparation were patented in Armenia.
Thus, the use of Ecobiofid + biofertilizer will provide effective enrichment of the soil with nitrogen, and this is expected to be another step in solving the pressing global problem of organic farming, which will result in environmentally friendly food products with improved taste and nutritional properties.
The drug has passed large-scale tests on vegetable, technical, feed, fruit and ornamental crops. Biofertilizer has been tested in a number of scientific institutions and farms in various regions of the republic; confirmed its high efficiency and indisputable advantages compared to ammonium nitrate used in the agricultural industry of Armenia.

Comparative economic effect of biofertilizers
To cultivate 1 ha of arable land, on average, 300 kg of saltpeter is required, and for effective cultivation of 1 ha of arable land, 10 l of Ecobiofid + is required. Compared with ammonium nitrate, the use of the proposed biofertilizer is twice cheaper.
The economic effect of the use of biofertilizers will be more than 50% plus an increase in productivity by 10-15% compared with nitrate.
Watering requirements are significantly reduced. Using Ecobiofid + will reduce the need for frequent watering and save about 30% of irrigation water consumption.
The zeolite contained in the complex biological product will prevent the leaching of nitrogen, potassium, phosphates and nutrients from the soil, thereby reducing the rate of consumption of NPK.

The biological product was successfully tested on various plant cultures both in greenhouses and in field conditions, as well as in the Research Center for Vegetable and Industrial Crops of the MA RA.
