- Acts mainly on gram-positive microorganisms (staphylococci, streptococci, corynobacteria, etc.), as well as on gram-negative bacteria (bordetella, actinobacilli and some types of actinomycetes). It is especially effective against the causative agents of dysentery and mycoplasmosis. Lincomycin is well and quickly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and is distributed in tissues and organs.
