Павловопосадский платок / Lilac Fairy shawl with silk fringe

The most widespread production in the 19th century was the production of printed Pavlovsk scarves and shawls. Shawls were stuffed by hand. The material was cut to fit the size of the scarves, attached to a wooden frame, or glued to the table. The pattern was applied with carved wooden boards (miners), and in order for the paint to penetrate the fabric better, they beat the board with a heavy hammer.
