F.-G. Morelli is a sculptor and woodcarver. He worked in Paris, London, Budapest. The bust "Don Quixote" was made in 1895. as a pair to the bust "Mephistopheles" (1895). The couple personifies the main ethical categories: Good and Evil. Don Quixote is the hero of the novel by the classic of world literature M. Cervantes "The cunning hidalgo Don Quixote of La Mancha" - a poor nobleman, noble and magnanimous, but infinitely far from real life. It is considered a symbol of goodness. Chest image of a man with a goatee, mustache curled up, in a headdress (the famous "shaving basin"), in a cuirass. His head is turned to the right and up. Inscription on the back of the back section: "Felix Morelli 1895". The Kasli plant has been casting a bust since the end of the 19th century.
