Description
One of the main requirements to systems of sewage is increased the stiffness, i.e. the ability to withstand a long time the loads generated by the impact of masses of soil and traffic. Unplasticized PVC is a rigid material. Its characteristic properties are resistance to acids and alkalis, as well as high hardness and dimensional stability. In addition, PVC is chemically resistant to alcohols, oils, aliphatic hydrocarbons, petrol and many other aggressive chemical substances and connections.
Parameter defining the stiffness of the pipes is ring stiffness, i.e. the ability of the pipe wall to withstand the loads that cause compression of the pipe. Depending on the rigidity of smooth pipes PVC pipes PVC pipes are divided into 2 classes: SN (4 kN/m2) and SN (8 kN/m2). Pipe SN4 apply where there is weak traffic. SN8 pipe is designed for areas with intensive traffic. Crucial when choosing the type of pipes have strength calculations, methods of calculations given in SP 40-102-2000.
Purpose and scope
UPVC pipe SINIKON and MAGNAPLAST is designed to strip the outer gravity sewer systems. Connection pipes are designed for pressures of 0.5 bar (5m H2O) at a temperature of 20°C. Sewer pipe may not be used if the temperature of the wastewater is continuously above 60°C.
Chemical resistance of pipes and fittings and seals is maintained to sewage with a pH value of 2-12.
