Description
large-Scale bronze replica of the Soviet three-stage rocket "Vostok", created on the basis of a family of missiles R-7 with kerosene fuel.
The missile carrier could orbit a payload weighing up to 4730 kg and was used for launches of spacecraft series "Vostok", "Luna-1" - "Luna-3", satellites of series "Cosmos", "meteor" and "Electron". On 12 April 1961, was the world's first manned space flight of Yuri Gagarin.
Developer and manufacturer of these missiles were made by OKB-1 under the leadership of Sergei Pavlovich Korolev.
